Anne has over 30 years' experience in clinical work. After graduating with an MA from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, she worked for several family service agencies and was a unit supervisor at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute.

Personal Statement

Individuals frequently find themselves in situations that appear without solution and where they feel helpless. This translates into repetitive dysfunctional patterns of behavior reflecting depression and anxiety.

I have found that exploration of the dynamics of patients' unique history and life experiences within the context of an objective and understanding therapeutic relationship can promote relief of symptoms and problem resolution.

I have a strong commitment to helping people understand the issues that prevent them from finding their authentic selves and achieving their goals. As a therapist, I respect individuals' beliefs and choices. My role is to work with them as a partner in their search for self-fulfillment and growth.
